Hi friends,
I am new to the forum, so thanks in advance for any assistance. I recently bought a 2008 38 foot Keystone Raptor. It has a dometic fridge that is on AC, as I have yet tio put any gas in it. It's parked in a park full time with 50 amp service. The overtemp switch keeps tripping, and it shouldn't be detecting excess heat from the flu on ac, as there is no flame in the pot. Any ideas?
Thanks again,

Make sure everything is clean. Open the outside side panel be sure it looks clean. Remove the cover up on the roof and with a good light, make sure the passage is clean. Heat will migrate up to the roof regardless of mode.

Overtemp condition has nothing to do with gas vs electric.  Either heat source can cause the boiler to overheat if the ammonia/hydrogen coolant isn't circulating properly.  Unless the sensor is faulty (unlikely on a Dometic), your fridge is toast - it needs a new cooling unit (they are not repairable).
