Dometic RM1350 Fridge Eyebrow Trim Removal

Hello all,
I am trying to remove my fridge but cannot remove the eye brow that has the led display. I have removed the 2 screws that hold it in place.It can lift up about 20 degrees but will not pull out. There seems to be a catch of some sort to prevent it from pulling it out. I need to remove it so I can access the screws holding the top of fridge in place. I have access to the 2 bottom screws. Need to pull it out so I can replace the oh so fragile drip tube!

Do you have the RM 1350 installation manual? That will show you where the mounting screws are and what is removed to get at them. Here's a source if needed:

Note that the manual covers multiple models. so focus on the RM 1350 info. Page 16 shows removal of two upper screws under the top trim panel. Not the eyebrow itself???

I have the manual and followed it to a tee. I have talked to Dometic as well. Nobody can explain why the top shelf that has the small led in it. I have removed the top 2 screw which did loosen the black shelf but there is a catch that will not release the shelf. So I was hoping somebody who has removed that shelf could tell me what they did to remove it.

You have removed the screws in the rear of the fridge?

Had a similar problem with my dometic fridge controller panel. I looked for the schematic on the controller, blew up the picture of it and saw 4 small tabs that held it in place, said prayers and gently pryed it out of the slot without breaking the tabs. You may be able to figure it out with the schematic.
