Today, I first went to the Visitor Center and then all three hikes across the road. Very easy hikes, pancake flat and each one is less than a mile. But round trips mean around 4 to five miles total. But these have to be the easiest hikes in all of the park and one of them goes down to the river.
So here are some of the photos:
The Visitor Center open on July 4 and there I watched a short film about stuff to do in the park:
There are several benches on the trails for those who need a rest often:
One of the trails goes to across the river on a bridge:
There were some people enjoying the river right near there:
I did a lot of motorcycle riding after those hikes. I took a ride to Benbow Lake SRA where I recharged across the street at the Benbow Hotel and then I headed back here on the Ave of the Giants when I got to the south part of it at just south of Phillipsville.
