Got this info from a F150 forum, seemed relevant info to pass along. Seems the company First Brands has filed for bankruptcy protection.

One of those brands.. Tekonsha is named after the village it started in. I grew up in the Township... At one time (1980s) the CEO was a former HS classmate of mine.

Then it was sold to Bargman and well. That's the end of my knowledge.

Your description sounds like the parent company, First Brands Group is filing for bankruptcy. That does not affect the subsidiary companies directly; however they might be sold off as part of the bankruptcy court decision.
I suspect Lippert Industries might be waiting in the wings, and that will directly affect those companies.

Depends on how they are filing.
Chapter 11 bankruptcy is a legal process that allows businesses and individuals to reorganize their debts while continuing to operate, providing a pathway to financial recovery.
Chapter 7 bankruptcy is a legal process that allows individuals and businesses to eliminate most unsecured debts through the liquidation of non-exempt assets.

First Brands filed Chapter 11 on 9/25/25. They also secured Debtor 1.1 Billion of debtor-in-possesion financing to continue current operations.
