dull stain on front of 5ver due to black streak remover

Hi,

I was cleaning my 5ver last night.  I was removing the black streaks on the front cap and some parts of the cap now have a dull "spray" pattern stain.  How can I remove this?

Any suggestions.  I have tried wax and clay.  Neither worked.

What is the finish on your fifth wheel cap?  Is it clearcoat over fiberglass or gelcoat on fiberglass?
