Never been to a RV show before but we are considering attending the Washington Camping RV Expo 2022 this weekend at the Dulles Expo.
As a first time buyer, we simply want to look at different RV's to compliment our countless hours of online research and try to make a decision for what to purchase.
Is this the right place to go and spend the day walking around to accomplish our intent?

Yes in a word. BUT dont let the vultures suck you in to buying anything. Any deal they offer you will still be there afterwards. All the new features will be on display which is cool. We go every year to the shows cause its fun but it takes us on average 2 years to buy once we start looking seriously, we bought a new rig in March 2021 we first saw in Sept 2019. Its a big investment you want to get right. Look, touch, feel, imagine its your space and your stuck in it for a week with bad weather, can you imagine yourself cooking, sleeping, showering, playing card games or eating etc.

And above all - HAVE FUN WITH IT

We go to the Washington show almost every year. Parking is generally crazy but it is an overall good experience. Something I noticed, and this might be strange, when you are on your feet all day walking around these events, any chair you sit in will be comfortable. Really think about what you want in seating and if it will be comfortable over the long run. Most of the pull out couches are too short from front to back.
