DVR/TiVo time changes

When you travel between time zones, how does your DVR/TiVo get the correct/changed time? Do you need to change it manually? I'm thinking of moving our DVR to the coach for an upcoming cross-country trip and have some things programmed to record. I know that the standard DTV receiver currently in the coach doesn't change time and I don't see how it would know we're in a different time zone.

You have to tell it the time zone.  It really doesn't matter as the program schedule will show in whatever time zone you set, but the programs will record at the correct time.  It really doesn't care where you are.
