Tommy & I used to take our boat from Eddo's (Sherman Island) to the boat dock at Walnut Grove and from there walk a half mile or so to get to Locke.Locke was home to Chinese laborers who built the railroads and built the CA Delta levees, until the clamshell dredge was brought in.
But we liked the restaurant in Rio Vista on the way. It was a weird mixture of foods. Mexican/BBQ/Italian & Chinese. The owner was Chinese, married to an Italian who used to own a restaurant in Mexico (or something like that). Actually, made some sense after we chatted with the owner. We thought it was very good. Don't know if it still exists as it's now been many years.
It was fun to be able to boat to the restaurants on or near the water.
