Elections and the price of deisel. Portland OR

Up to the day before the elections, two stations that I pass on my way to work were selling diesel at $2.55/gal, the day after the election it jumped to $2.89/gal. Anyone else observed this phenomenon?

No changes here in Russellville Arkansas.  It's been $2.40 for a couple weeks now.

Ours went up about $0.12 a gallon on Wednesday morning before the sun rose!  :-((

I have seen no change around here in the price of diesel.  Despite the steep drop in gas prices, diesel never went down.  Now two days later the price of gas has already risen 10c per gallon.

Just a update; yesterday diesel jumped up 10 cents to $2.99 at many stations.

Russellville, Arkansas --- Flying J is down 4 cents to $2.36 and Pilot is down the same amount to $2.38.  ???
