The way the fire-ready-aim method of repair works is you get to fix new problems you're adding in addition to whatever might've been wrong in the first place. I don't believe there was a firm understanding of the original fault or how to test for it, that the correct replacement parts were installed, or installed correctly, and incorrect tests of new parts was used. Conclusions are being drawn from misperceptions or inaccurate methods - you will never get there from here the way you're going. I'm not even sure it's possible to restore it to what it was before you started but if that's an option, that's where I'd go before any more damage and confusion is done. You're turning what might've been a single point failure into an unholy mess to figure out.
