Hi again RV Forum Friends,
A little while back I introduced myself, I’m Melissa, founder of a nonprofit called Elev8 Villages (we're preparing to build villages for youth that have aged out of a childhood of foster care and now are in the world alone with noone). First, thank you to everyone that have given me such a warm welcome. And 2nd... this community is awesome! This forum is such a treasure chest of experience and I've learned so much already.
Today I’m circling back, with humility and hope, to share one specific way this community might be able to help.
Over the next year, we’ll be traveling to 40+ cities across the U.S. to ignite a movement around a simple but powerful idea: every young person deserves a place to belong.
The Elev8 Villages Tour will:
Here’s what we need now:
We’re looking for a Class A motorhome, with lowish mileage and good mechanical health. Something reliable and roadworthy, we’ll be putting serious miles on it.
It doesn’t need to be luxurious. What it does need is heart.
We imagine it’s sitting somewhere right now....beloved but unused.
Maybe it was bought for adventures that never happened. Maybe it still holds dreams that didn’t get off the ground. If that RV is waiting for a purpose, we have one that will carry its story across the country and into the lives of youth who need it most.
We’ll feature it in our videos, storytelling, and social media. And bring it to places where people will gather, listen, and join a growing circle of support.
If you or someone you know might be open to talking about an RV donation, or even just pointing us in the right direction, I’d love to connect.
Here’s more about the project, including video & FAQ, and our official 501(c)(3) documentation is attached below.

Thanks for letting me post here, and thank you to everyone who’s welcomed me into this community already. Even if this doesn’t land with you personally, I’d be so grateful if you’d consider passing it along to someone it might resonate with.
Warmly,
Melissa Kaye

The Elev8 Villages Tour will:
- Hold events in partnership with civic leaders and nonprofits
- Host gatherings we call Circles of Belonging: intimate, honest conversations around how we build resilience and real community for young adults who’ve never known safety or home
- Build relationships with landowners, city planners, sponsors, and future mentors
- Capture it all in a docuseries to educate and inspire
- And, most importantly, listen to youth who’ve lived the story we aim to change
