I couldn't help but notice that almost all of them were Class A. I wonder how many of them were caused by engine fire.

yes most of those sold for parts were class A's.

From what I saw it appeared about 30% of them were totaled by engine fires,    another 40% of them were crashed,... and a bunch of the others were refrigerator fires,
