That is the wall thermostat that operates my Fan-Tastic Fans. You set it to the desired temperature at which you want it to turn off and it does, while also closing the lid. When the inside temperature rises again, the fan will turn itself back on and begin lowering the temperature if you have a window open.
BTW, Dometic/Fan-Tastic Fan has a lifetime warranty on the lid, the rest is 7 years I think.800-544-4881 If you call them you will need the fan model # off the sticker on the motor.

I have two Fantastic fans. The one in the bathroom has two switches mounted on the wall, right there in plain sight.

The one in the kitchen area has the same switches but they are hidden behind a tilt out drawer directly under the sink.

Don't ask how long it took to find the switch. šŸ˜

thank you all for the answers, will try another thermostat as this one does nothing..and look for another switch, the manual shows the thermostat controls the kitchen, so its either bad or wiring problem..much appreciated..

Before disassembling things try this: on top of the fan is a small plunger that turns the fan on/off when the lid pushes it down(off) or removes pressure(on). Open the lid then move that plunger with your finger, up/down.(you'll be on the roof) The contact may be corroded or tarnished enough to prevent 12V contact.
If that doesn't work, unplugging and reattaching the 'stat wiring may restore contact on those low voltage wire terminals.
Failing than, then try switching 'stat locations.
