Hey all!
I found this website today, I was looking to ask for help figuring out what to do about my beloved 1988 Jayco. I have only had her for a year but I can't keep her, my living situation has changed drastically and I need to downsize to something a lot smaller. I'm hoping to find feedback about services to move or sell her. I've been calling local dealerships but I can only find so much on google. I know she's old but she's in great condition, and I have limited time.
I'm in Portland, OR, so local options/suggestions would be much appreciated!

Hi and welcome.

Someone recently used RV Trader. That might be a safe option.

You said in your other post that it needs a gooseneck hitch. What does that mean? Do you mean that the tow vehicle needs a fifth wheel hitch?
Welcome to the forum.

Rene, a gooseneck hitch, from a distance, looks similar to a 5th wheel, but up close the difference is considerable. On the truck bed it looks a lot like a "bumper hitch" ball, but a "gooseneck" extends from the trailer down to connect to the ball. I know exactly what a gooseneck hitch is but looking at a picture of his fifth wheel it looks like he has a standard fifth wheel hitch/pin box. That’s why I was asking what he meant

I'm not entirely sure what the difference is, I'm going off what the dealership told me when I bought the trailer. I took pictures of the attachment recently, if this helps?
