Another member asks for clarification on what part of the latch broke, sharing their own experience of having a machinist fabricate a stronger striker bolt for a different brand. Additional advice points to Etrailer as a source for a wide variety of slam latches, recommending checking the internal markings for the original manufacturer if only a component needs replacement.
Lippert acquired substantially all of the business assets of Challenger Door, LLC, a leading manufacturer and distributor of branded doors for the RV industry and products for specialty and cargo trailers. Have you contacted Lippert?

What broke?
On my Tri-mark latches it was always the striker bold that broke.
I had a machinist make me some from Steel instead of the **** "White metal" Tri-mark used.
Those did not break.
I repaired my Southco latch with a $.50 inner part by contacting them directly. The CSR who took my call was incredible. She brought up a schematic of my latch, confirmed the part I needed, a simple lever that tripped the lock release, ordered the part from China, and in 10 days I had the part in my mail box, at no charge!
