We own a 1999 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager DP. I have been trying to get everything working as we purchased this unit used about 6 monthys ago. The only thing left not working  are a couple of basement lights and the fog lights. I found that the bulbs were bad so I changed those and still no lights. I checked the sockets and discovered no power, is there a fuse that goes to the fog lights only or could they be tied to other lights. We live in the NW so fog lamps come in handy. Thanks for any information or tips any one has for me.

The fog lights on our MH were factory inst so they have their own switch on the dash and a dedicated fuse in the panel. If yours were inst by a previous owner they probably have an in-line fuse where they picked up power which may or may not be at the fuse box. You will probably have to trace the power wire back to know for sure. I would also just check all the 12v fuses in the panel to see if you get lucky and find a blown one. Make sure you have a good ground at the fog lights also. If they lose the ground they will not light and this is also common. You can run a separate temp wire for a ground just to check. Good luck.

Please don't be insulted if you already have found this, but a lot of times the fog lamps are on both a different switch and circuit. If they are aftermarket, who knows where the fuse is, but if they are factory, I would think you would find something in the 12v fuse panel near the dash for your coach.

Can you chase down an electrical diagram for your coach anywhere?

(well, I see Mavarick landed while I was typing... :) )

have you checked them with your engine running? my fog and running lights only come on with engine running and head lights on.

I put aftermarket one on last RV there was a relay I had to put on the firewall. You might try tracking back from the lights to find it. I also 2nd running new ground wire. Mine came loose a couple of times and stopped working.

One other thing in case yours are factory, make sure the headlights are set to low beam. Some fog lights shut off when the headlights are switched to high beam. Let us know what you find.

I have checked for power at the switch and fuse and nothing either place. There are no wiring diagrams so not sure what wires are used for fog lamp power. the lamps are factory so if I had a diagram I could find it. I could just dummy it up like so many people do but I am not one to do that. Does anyone know if spartan coach has any information on these? Sorry for the repost but didn't find this when looking.

Superstock, does your MH use a version of the Intellitec or RV-Custom Products Battery Control Center?

Yes, my fog lights cut off when I switch on the high beams.  I'm sure the same guy that came up with that idea also invented the hold button, and those annoying answering systems where one never gets to talk to another human.

Humm.. You folks know that from time to time I sing and/or write songs right. This is the first few lines of one of mine, (rest on request only)...

Wade through the Menus
Wade through the menus people
Wade through the menus
Your'e gonna have to wade through the Menus.

Ok it is fixed, I pulled fuse block out and found loose wire. It is now secure and everything is good to go. Thank everyone for your input much appreciated.
