There have always (well, ever since I've been here anyway) been periods when there were few posts, but started getting busier again after a while. So very much depends on who is doing what, when and when. Colder weather, of course, tends to slow things somewhat, and if one or more of the more frequent posters hasn't been here for a while it seems to slow somewhat just from that. After all, most of the members here don't post very much, even if they are here frequently.
So what you're seeing is normal, in my experience here.

Maybe for some, but that is a great time to RV to the warmer weather. I am usually on an RV trip somewhere every December. Last Xmas was here.

Don, my post was referring to the posting volume on this site, not specifically to what RVers do in cold weather, though I grant that their trips (or none) tend to reduce or increase posts.
