I note in the Account details there's a button to change the username. I wonder if that creates a new user or recursively replaces your ID in all your existing posts.

This updates your current account and any posts you've made. This option is avaliable to members (changing their own display name) only once. If you need further help with a name change - hit the contact link

Before the update, when I used the "mark forum read" it not only removed the bold from the thread titles but it also changed the header from bold so that I could easily see what forum subject areas had new posts. It doesn't work now and am wondering if it should, or is there something that I need to do so that will happen?

This is working but you will need to refresh the page to see the unbolding, etc.

Oh I did that automaticaly It just forgot the last read on the old forum system is all. Anticipated issue not a problem As I said on a scale of 10 about 0.01 (not at all significant)

We discontinued this because each little software update required updating two sets of graphics (sort of twice the effort and rife with the potential for missing something). Most browsers have a dark theme setting built in now. Have you tried that?

Yes, but those are what was there before. When I tried to update the signature, when I pressed "Save", that is when I got the error for longer than two lines.

I have, but I prefer to use the ones built-in the website, because the browser will apply to dark theme to all the websites. And most don't work quite well with it.

I, too, see that translucent area at the bottom of the page, and it's very annoying. There is also no apparent purpose for it.

I'm not using a search engine, Rod. It's even at the bottom as I'm typing this in on my Win7 Pro PC using Waterfox as my browser. At times it semi-hides a pair of arrows, one up and one down. Note how the RVforum logo is half semi-hidden on this screenshot.

In the main forum page ALL of the forum titles are BOLD, and the only difference between read and unread is the tiny "motorhome" logo is red for unread or gray for read. Used to be that we had the titles in bold only for unread- big difference in evaluating the page portions at a glance.

I'm seeing bold titles for unread and regular titles for read, similar to but slightly different fonts than before. What platform are you using?

Thanks for the screen shot - super helpful. That bar at the bottom is an ad. If you using an ad blocker the ad is removed but not the bar
