The fresh water gravity fill has started leaking. I cannot for the life of me find where it enters the tank. Help

For the life of me I can't remember (2005 Horizon AD) where ours was. Download your tank plumbing diagrams, it should point you in the right direction. I never had a problem with gravity fill but the dump valve started leaking. That was a bit of a PITA to replace.

Generally at the top... Though I suspect some could be other places.

IF it is the standard 1.25" Pool vacuum hose you may be able to trace it by dropping a magnet, on a string, and using a compass to follow the magnet (or some other device like a stud finder)

Now. you say it is leaking.. All the time.. Only when traveling. Or when filling (over filling) the tank from city quick fill fitting.

It starts leaking as soon as water is introduced. Either the tube has a hole or has been detached from the tank is my best guess.

I think you are going to have to pull the belly down to get a good look at it from the bottom. I had a Montana fifth wheel and it had a box on the inside covering the hose to protect it and to hide it.

Ok, As soon as you pour water into the inlet then. Yes hose broken, leaking or disconnected from tank are my top picks How to fix it depends on the RV there MIGHT be access from inside the Rig depending on what is directly behind the inlet.. But I'd not count on it. And I'd rather not speculate on how bad it could be

It would be really stupid for an Rv manufacturer to put the input port to the fresh water tank some place where it can't be reached. (Partly sarcasm)

Look for a cabinet, couch, drawers, or anything that could be removed (even with a little work) inside near where the external filler is located. The hose probably can't make a sharp turn. I've found them in all of the places mentioned.

Winnebago might be much better than other RV manufacturers as far as designing for maintenance and service, for one example all of the wiring has a printed reference number. Another example is comprehensive wiring and plumbing diagrams.

I've been all over our previous Horizon adding wiring and whatnot, repairing various things, etc. Repair access I believe is fairly good considering it's an RV.

Probably so, thinking about our Horizon some plumbing is accessible by removing a panel or two in the bathroom. It's on the same side as the gravity fill.
