That depends on what filter you choose to use. There are sediment filters that do not remove chlorine.

Now we do have a 3M filter under the galley sink which they don't make filters for anymore and I think I'm on my last filter.

If you are thinking of a specific filter that may be but 3M does still manufacture the Aqua-Pure systems and at least some replacement filters are still in production. Also Amazon carries several versions of it.

This is the filter, not made any more but if I recall I found substitutes out there. I had better start looking as my last one is 2 years old although it hasn't had very much water through it.
