Back in 2011, a "perfect storm" of events made a cross country trip that my wife and I had dreamed of for years possible. After we god home I sat down and wrote about our journey. Since 2011 we've made a habit of taking an extended trip every fall but unfortunately I've never sat down to write about these trips.
- in 2012 we went to New England,
- in 2014 and 15 and again in 2017 we visited the mid west (Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Virginia; Kansas (several times), the upper mid-west (Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota),
- in 2016 North and Carolina and Florida
- and 2018 western and northern New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine
