My 2012 passport ultra lites front cap has delaminated and I need to fix it. I am wondering if a gel-coat front cap from a passport elite would work?
If no one knows or has tried this swap than what is the best to resolve my problem of delamination? Any threads on front cap replacement?
Thanks
In advance

Probably will not work. Manufacturer would be able to answer that question. I did find a video of a cap replacement that may help you some.

my guess...it won't be a turnkey "line's up perfect" and done sort of swap...but a crafty and handy person could probably make it work...and maybe work very nicely.... again, just my guess.

look closer at the box size of the new trailer compared to yours.  ...width wall to wall, height, etc....
with that I'll bet you could get a really good feel about it

Good advice on both replies I was told but don't know for sure the elite has taller side walls and the manufacturer could not tell me about interchange. The aluminum in the video is probably what I will do, not easy but doable and looked pretty good

You may want to call some RV salvage yards to see if you can find a good front cap for your model.

Near the top of the page click <Resources>  then <Menu>  and open    RV Parts and Salvage

I agree. It's worth looking into. Ask the folks at www.delamrepair.com what they think.

Just my 2 cents  :)
