I'm in Naples, few days be in Key West.  The front simulator lugs are frozen on bend the tool trying to get them off.  Tried everything and went every where to find a breaker bar that would fit.

Craftman, tractor supply, auto barn, Lowes.. No can do.  When we get to Orlando area will try again. In two weeks.

I think it is Metric.. It is just above 1 1/2" and the next size is a little sloppy.
Can't help any more.  Mine is 1-1/8".  If your MH is driveable, run by an auto parts store.  They should be able to fix you up.  If not driveable, see if you can get one off and take it to the store.  Try NAPA, Autozone, O'Reillys, etc.

Not sure what you really have there, you say "simulator lugs". Well if they are then most are part of the simulator and not removeable except maybe one maybe two. Point is that most setups have the simulator with false lug nuts covering the real ones.

Good point.  Mine has two that are removeable and are identified with a couple of dimples in them.

The actual lug nut size is 33 MM.  The simulator nuts are larger and there is only 2 per wheel to remove.

i keep a large adjustable on hand to remove mine. as stated, mine only has two on each simulator that hold it on. the remain six (8 bolts tires) are fake and do not turn and are part to the simulator. the two that hold on the simulator on mine have a small slot type dipple on them and the rest do not. by the way that flimsy tool that came with the coach was broken when i got it.

33 MM That is what I needed did everything that was suggested. Removed one lug, took it all over Naples and the best I got was at a tractor supply house. Still no match..

A gorilla put the front ones on. Looks like a job for a pipe wrench or crescent wrench.  There are 2 nuts per simulator I soaked them in liquid wrench will see what tomorrow brings.

It appears you have a diesel coach. The simulator nuts should be either plastic or metal "covers" over the lug nuts. You will not remove them by trying to turn them. There's something like 450lbs torque required for the real lug nuts.

Sometimes rust will freeze the covers to the actual lug nuts. They normally pull straight off the real nut.

Jim

The simulator lugs are either tin or aluminum covered. There are two removable lugs on each HUB CAP simulator is just a fancy word.  The 2lugs hold the hub cap on the wheel.  You remove them to clean hub or to check the air pressure.  The front hub caps were put on either by a gorilla or a mechanic with a impact gun. Need  a breaker bar to remove just 2 lugs on the front hub caps.

Yes it's a diesel 2007 Journey.

Jim,

OK, now I understand. Yes, there are times when someone puts excess torque on the nuts that hold the hubcap in place.

I have had to use a lot of force to remove some in the past. Most times the manufacturer provides a small aluminum "wrench" that should be used but, when too much torque is used, that item is useless.

After re-reading your posts I see you already bent yours.

Not always, mine have 4 that remove.

But does yours have 22.5 inch wheels or 33 mm lug nuts???

We have 22.5" 8 lug wheels and the hub is held on by 4 of the nuts.  All 8 lug nuts are covered with chrome covers, but they pull off easily.
