I need a furnace for a 2000 roadtrek versatile 200
I am in Ontario so where would I get a decent deal
Thanks Ann
(Bought this summer and of course everything works great. 1000. Later and more to go

Few of us know the details of how a Roadtrek 200 is equipped. What is the make & model of the furnace? Most such are available from online discount sources if you can DIY. If you are looking for a dealer to provide the furnace and install it, be prepared to pay thru the nose!

It would be rare that an RV furnace requires total replacement - they are pretty simple and components are usually available. Dealer techs, however, tend to be poor at diagnosis and too often just throw parts at it without investigating much. If you could describe what your furnace problem is, maybe we could suggest what is needed.

Hmmm. That's the legal gas rating plate, but still doesn't give the Suburban model number. Usually visible once the access cover is removed. Or maybe listed in your owner manual package? Suburban furnaces typically have a model number such as NT-16 or SF-20Q. Does it have an outer access door (in the outside wall of the coach)? Does it blow heat thru a grill in the front of the furnace, or does it have ducts that distribute eat around the interior?
This guide might help identify it.

Gas leaks usually come from fittings on the gas line rather than a faulty appliance.
