Looking at these gas prices, yes, we know.. gas is gas, you have to have. However, there is no reason why we can't save some $ to buy more gas!

Anyone use Dinopay app? With app you can save 10 cents, with their advantage card ,20 cents a gallon.

Thoughts, ideas, experiences.. thanks!

There are several Sinclair stations near where we are, and they are the lowest price gas in the area. Add the 10 cents a gallon discount and we're in.
And if, for some reason, the link fails, and I don't get the discount, I email Sinclair my receipt, and they send me the discount. What's not to love? A free 3 bucks (give or take dime) when I fill the RV.
What's not to love?

Several regional fuel/convenience stores have discount or loyalty programs. So does Walmart via their Walmart+ subscription. The cents/gallon discounts are real, but sometimes the discounted price is no better than might be available at another nearby fuel stop. Stay aware of pricing in your area and don't assume the discount is always the best deal.

I use Gas Buddy but I assume they're all similar. You have to use their card which is basically a debit card, so they're giving you a "cash" price versus using credit.
At stations that advertise a cash price, the Gas Buddy discount usually lines up.

I'm weary of linking ACH information to an app. Other than Open Roads, I'll only sign up for discount store fuel rewards programs which don't require entering payment information.

With a 5% cash back on gas purchases for some credit cards right now, it gets you same or better than cash price offered by most stations or whatever their "app pay" discount is, plus the convenience of a card payment, and with better fraud protections.

We use our Sinclair a lot, but yes, some states, places don't have Sinclair. Often I get an additional coupon from them, for more off..

I opened a checking account for just my online purchases, only keep a small amount if $ in there.... works great!

I despise apps for this, apps for that....... Its a never ending screen of apps. If you don't buy a phone with huge internal memory, you eventually could run out I suppose.

Circle K has a program you can sign up for a discount, then you enter your phone number in the pump and it gives you a discount. My biggest gripe is the one Circle K close to home won't keep paper in the pump printers. Clerks look at you funny when you walk in to get a receipt.

My local Valero is real good about keeping paper in the printers. Once in a while I have to go in and get a receipt. The owner joked one time, "I let them run out so the customers have to come in and get the receipt. That way I get to MEET the customers :). He is a smart guy. Worked for Lehman Brothers in India until they went bankrupt, then he moved to the US and bought the gas station.

The Valero is only a couple of miles from the house. I buy a lot of gas there. They have non-ethanol gas and in the summer I buy about 20 gallons at a time. Its also a Top Tier fuel. Before you poo-poo that, watch THIS video.

I don't buy from Loves, Pilot/Flying J, all of their diesel is B20 which is a strong solvent. I learned to avoid it when I had the Sprinter MH. Mercedes says to avoid it, and if you have to use it, don't let it sit in the tank for long periods of time, and check the oil frequently because it can actually cause the oil level to rise as it contaminates it. (Thats what Benz says, not me). I top my diesel truck at the Valero, any time I'm heading out on a trip, he sells straight diesel. The local logging trucks and independent dump truck operators all buy from him.

Loves/Pilot/Flying J are always the most expensive at an interchange.

25 cent a gallon is a pretty good discount! I just checked and the avg PPG is $2.90 right now and that would be about a 12% discount. Not too shabby.

I like those member stations that pull from a bank account not a CC. I have a free account at my bank & use it only for fuel. When needed I move a few bucks from checking to the fuel account.
