Gas in Ludlow or Esses CA between Barstow and Needles?

Howdy - Does anyone know if there is gas available in either Ludlow or Essex along I-40 in Calif between Barstow and Needles?

Hi--  Think Carl is correct. It's been awhile since using I 40 out that way, but was surprised that a service place had popped up near Newberry Springs whereas, there had been nothing (on I 40 itself) between Needles and Barstow on the several previous trips I had made , all in a small Class C M/H that was running on fumes getting from Barstow to Needles!.

Just an FYI.  Much to my delight there is in fact gas in Ludlow.  There are 2 gas stations open there.  There is also a Dairy Queen, a small Cafe and a small Motel.

We went to Mitchell Caverns at Providence Mountains State Park and it was incredible!
