generator exhaust extention

I have a onan 2800 rv generator.  The exhaust muffler for this model has an ENCLOSED muffler. I am wanting to use a gen-turi exhaust extension. Any ideas on how to extend the enclosed muffler to be able to use the gen-turi?

Is there any exhaust pipe showing?  If so it would be easy to add an extension and then the GT.
I looked up the operator manual and it appears that you would have to gain access via the spark arrestor.  Probably would have to make an adapter and support the generator some how in order to have enough clearance. 
Take care as it is much more difficult than I originally thought.
