I HAVE A FORD 350 ECONOLINE SPRINTER MALLARD I GUESS AND WHEN  I PRESS THE START BUTTON INSIDE THE GENERATOR DOESNT EVEN MAKE A SOUND AND THEN WHEN I TRY TO HAND START IT IT SOUNDS LIKE IT WANTS TO TURN OVER BUT THEN IT DOESNT.... HELP PLEASE........

Just by what you've told us , Sounds  like a Battery problem.

UTI0026,

When you say "hand start it", do you mean pushing a button on the genset itself from the outside, or something else?
What happens when you try to start it when other 12 volt things, like lights, are turned on? Do they go dim or not function? If so, probably bad battery or corroded battery connections. How about when the engine is running - same problem?

to properly help you I would need to know what the make and model of your generator is... They vary from onan to kohler to generac and also from model to model. I will be glad to help you with above information... But as was previously said : check battery voltage and corroded cables and make sure they are all good. then we will take it fom there.
