Sorry it's so long but this is what it take to buy Goodyear tires.

We got 6 new G670 19.5" Good year tires on our 2016 31s Hurricane in 2020 in July. He had a hard time finding 6 tires. The first time we took it out the RV vibrated so bad we couldn't even drive 65. I called him and said that he doesn't balance the back tires. So he would move the tires around and balance all the tires. He uses balance beads and not weights. We took the RV out again and it was better but there was still vibration going on. We took it back and he kept saying it was our RV and it need shocks. He drove it and said there was nothing wrong and that it was the road we were feeling. At this time I couldn't trust that he was balancing them right so I paid $300 to have the weights put on by someone else. He called us after he put the tires on said he took it for a drive and said it felt the same as before. I felt I had to prove to him it wasn't our RV so I broke down and had him put shocks on $1000. We took it out again and there was still vibration. It was now the end of the season and to call him in April. When April 2021 rolled around I decided to move each tire myself to find the bad tire. I moved tire 3 to the tire 1 location. It was great improvement. I drove it by myself and I though we had it. We took it out and my wife said that her side is bouncing so bad that it upsets her stomach. I could not feel it on my side. But you could hear a sound of a tire out of round. I moved my good tire to her side and #6 to mine. Her side was better but mine was not. I moved #4 to mine still not good. Don't waste a hour calling Goodyear cause they will not help. They need a good year representative to tell them their tires are bad. The guy that sold me the tires told them that it was our RV that was the problem. He never thought that it was the tires that were bad. I called him and he said he was done with our RV. He did not want anything to do with it. That he went above and beyond the call of duty for us. I all most blew my top. Breathing breathing. I begged him to replace the bouncing tire just 1 tire. He said that he would. He said when he called good year and that he lied to them and told them it was out of round. He ordered the tire. We were going on a trip that weekend so I moved the last tire to my side. OMG this is the tire that started this whole thing. We couldn't even drive 65. So when I was at the campground I moved the bad tire to the back. I had that tire replaced by him $60. Told him about the bouncing tire and had that replaced 2 weeks later another $60. The RV is a lot better but still not as good as the old tires. I'm done moving them around. The RV at one time was bouncing so bad that you couldn't put your head on the couch while driving. I heard that Good year is no longer making the G670 tire any more. I think I know why. The lesson here is Good year will not help and that they rely on you to put the bad tires in the back. The only way to tell which tire is bad is if its the tire in front and on your side. The RV bounces more when pulling a car. When they balance a tire and say its round doesn't mean anything.

Sounds like a bad dealer. I suspect “Goodyear” dealers are franchises and do not represent Goodyear the company.

Which Goodyear tires Did you buy? What were the date codes.

I bought Goodyear Endurance tires for my trailer and it rode much better. I had them balanced.

I think the dealer is crazy to not balance all 6 up front. Right then I would declare incompetence.

I've bought lot's of Goodyear tires. Usually from BigO or GCR. Never had such a problem.
In fact, my current tires are Goodyear that I bought from GCR.
Sounds like you met a really bad dealer.

Tire balancing machines by companies like Coats or Hunter check to make sure the tire is balanced.

They do NOT check to see if the tire is ROUND. A tire can be balanced and out of round at the same time.

To check - jack the car up until the tire is just off the ground and then spin it, does it spin almost all the way around and then stop because it's hit the ground? That would indicate the tire isn't round.

I have found some goodyear tire now made in china I wonder if his is. I personally seen them on a A class myself. The owner was bragging that he only brought USA tires early that day. Only because he saw them on mine and latter I looked at his goodyear tires and were there were made in stamped very clear.

Did the 2nd shop take the beads out before they balanced them? If not they will not balance up properly. It is not uncommon to use beads or powder with tires that size. It is important that they use the correct amount that the size requires. Seeing how your wife feels it one of the tires on the passenger side is probably bad. Goodyear is not always easy to deal with.

I would like to know which tire balancer that you can't see if a tire is out of round on.

I agree with Rob that you have a bad dealer. I had Goodyears replaced on my Beaver, and they did a fine job, right off the bat. Never had to go back. All too many service people/retail people out there these days don't know all that they need to for their job to be done properly, or in many cases they just don't care.

I can see that they might not have handled it properly but I don't think GY sends bad tires to certain dealers.

None of them check for roundness Babe, I repair them for a living. They balance tires by weight using three sensors in a triangle formation that measure forces while the tire spins. A tire can be out of round and still balanced. The machine won't notice at all. When I say out of round I'm talking about the radius from the center of the rim to the outside edge of the tread, a "bulge" if you like. It can happen in older tires if the belts fail but it can also happen in manufacturing on a brand new tire. Since you are required to lower a safety hood over the tire before it spins the operator never gets to see the tire spinning so they wouldn't notice it.

At least two methods of balancing will not show you out of round- bubble balancer (yup still in use), and beads. Also, if it's an older F53 chassis with 19.5 wheels, they can be mounted off center on the hub.
There are definitely bad tires, no matter the manufacturer, floating around out there.

I beg to differ because I sell them for a living as well and if a tire is really out of round you can see it on the balancer.

We bought a set of Goodyear Endurance RSA's in early 2020, put on by a Goodyear dealer. So far, they've been great tires and the dealership was easy to work with.

We had a vibration that was strong up front, and initially we thought it was the tires. Goodyear couldn't do an alignment at their shop nor perform any suspension work on a heavy truck, so we took it to a heavy truck shop. We gave them a blank check to sort out the issue, and long story short, it wasn't the tires ;)

I'm curious how a hub centered wheel, as used on the F53 chassis since at least 1995, could be mounted off center?
