I had both axles on our 2010 Arctic Fox 30 ft travel trailer replaced 2 years ago. Greasable wet bolts were used for the suspension. Two questions:

How frequently should these bolts be greased?

What type of grease should be used?

It is my understanding that a Moly grease would be best, as molybdenum disulfide continues to lubricate even if the petroleum carrier gets squeezed out.

Thanks.

It would all depend how many miles you put on in a years time. If I was putting on 5000 miles a year, I would do it every year. Also I would just use wheel bearing grease. I don’t think what type of grease is very critical. My opinion.

Maybe once a season, but if you do a lot of miles twice. Good wheel bearing grease should be just fine, but moly would be better, but messier.

I try to grease mine about every 2K, which is probably overkill, but grease is less expensive than new parts. I use the same grease I use on my wheel bearings-Lucas red and tacky.
