Just signed up and looking forward to finding the neat stuff. I have a 2004 Trail-Lite R_Vision and am the 3rd owner (know the previous two). Unit was parked in the mountains where the field mice had a heyday with the wiriing. I want to replace the wires from the holding tanks (fresh, grey and black) to the readout panel. Is there any special wire I should use? Are the existing wires tied down to the rails or can I pull new wire through? Many thanks - Ted

The wires are almost surely fastened down at various points and probably run around corners as well. Pulling new ones by connecting them to the old wires is rarely feasible.

The wires are very low voltage and current, so they don't have to be a large size (gauge). I'd guess 20 or 22 gauge shuld be plenty. If the wires run through exposed areas, they should be rated for vehicle exterior use, e.g automotive wire or similar.
