Gulf coast RV park recommendations?

We have been going to AZ near Phoenix the last few years for Jan and Feb (McDowell regional park). We are looking around for a new place. Consistent freezing temps isn’t what we are looking for…temps just below freezing very occasionally would be fine.
The prevailing SE winds will be a factor on the Texas Gulf Coast if you're on or very close to the water and exposed. Especially down in the Port Aransas/ Mustang Island vicinity and South. Even on milder days in Jan., Feb. and Mar. those winds will go right through you.

Thanks! Is there a particular RV park you can recommend at Port Aransa, TX?
We stay regularly at "Surfside RV Resort" in Port Aransas. It is in town, just two blocks off the main highway, but very quiet and we often walk down to the beach with our two dogs. They have full hookups and a pool and hot tub, plus washer/dryer facilities. We spent the entire month of October there this past year.

Also in Port Aransas is the county-owned I.B. McGee RV Park. We've never stayed there but have relatives that have. And it has recently been completely refurbished.

Someone else mentioned Buccaneer State Park in Mississippi - and we have stayed there too. We enjoyed that stay, though it may not really be "walking distance" to the beach.
