handicap features in Class A's

Does anybody have any knowledge or exerience with handicap/ Disabled features in class A's
Specifically larger bathrooms and showers with grab bars and hand-held showers?
Are they available at similar prices? Do people ever get features installed in an existing rig?

Some manufacturers offer models that are handicapped friendly and there are companies that specialize in customizing RVs with handicapped features. We used to have a file in our library listing some of the companies offering such RVs and services. Unfortunately, the file became out of date.

We've had a few handicapped folks in the forum who have done some of the customization themselves.

There are firms that cater to the handicapped; we've spoken with several people in wheelchairs who were out experiencing the national parks in their motorhomes.
