Last night I was a guest at the Marine Corps Ball in MO.  It was a birthday celebration.  My son is a nineteen year Gunnery Sergeant.  I couldn't be prouder.

They do know how to party. Last year we were staying in the hotel in Tampa where they held the local ball. At 6:00PM it was really impressive to see them all show up in full dress. By midnight they looked like the Marines I remember.

Maybe part of the reason they did was that we all tried to keep buying them drinks.<grin>
