I was so happy to find this forum. Our family just purchased our first RV travel trailer. Its a one owner 1994 29' Prowler. Its in excellent condition. It was originally purchased New and set up at a camp ground.
We are really happy with it.
Since we are new to the RV world, we would like to ask any and all of you fine folks for any advice?
We are actually going to be placing it on our little piece of paradise in WV. So it actually wont be used to travel very much with it.
Are there any thoughts on specifics to setting it up? Especially off the grid so to speak. We have a generator and a fresh water supply from a natural spring.

We are so excited not only to get setup but to meet some of the wonderful folks in the RV world...
Hope to hear from you...

Welcome aboard.  If it's gonna stay put, you'll also need a septic tank, or some means of emptying the holding tanks.

Welcome!!!

And.... before you move it, you will have to service the wheel bearings and possibly replace the tires. Check all the roof edges and openings for leaks and re-caulk regardless of the condition.

Thank you for the wonderful advice
Im actually going to pull all 4 wheels and repack all of the wheel bearings. I know they've been sitting for some time but they should still be fine consider it was pulled straight from the lot tol the campsite.
As for the septic I was thinking the exact same thing. I want to get some sort of tank that would allow to drain the liquids from thethe solids basically a standard type septic.
where were moving in West Virginia has some pretty lenient regulations but i still want to do it right.
We are planning on possibly living there until I get the cabin built. This will give us a nice comfortable place to stay whileI work.
Thanks again for the advice and feel free to offer any suggestions as we are totally new to having an RV.
Also does anyone know anything about solar? Thought might be a good option also...  ;D
And btw we do have gas rights which will provide a major savings...
