My name is David Williams, I am a Real Estate Broker working in the family business www.century21lc.com is our web address. We are located in Lenoir City Tennessee in the very bottom of the Tennessee Valley, the Tennessee river runs like 400 yards from my house. I am married with 2 small children you can see my wife and the kids in my avatar. Landon just turned 10 months old, Madolyn is 5 years old. My wife is an RN and is a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville TN at the foot of the smoky mountains.
I don't know how many of you have camped in the smokies but I think it is wonderful. We currently tent camp or rent Camper Cabins, my wifes parents (the Inlaws) have a custom built Newmar 5th Wheel they pull that monster with a fairly heavily modified Ford F-350 dually. my brother tent camps like we do. camping is one of our hobbies and we have slowed down since the baby was born but we are starting to go again. My Daughter would be a Full Timer if she could.
We are looking into buying our first camper, we are just beginning to look. We think we want a 5th wheel with 2 bedrooms and a fairly substantial truck to pull it with, I am wanting a Dodge 3500 Crew Cab Deisel Dually but it depends on the weight of the camper we end up with whether that is possible or not.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated, as far as good campers or proper trucks. Like I said we are just starting to look.
My wife and I used to tent camp about once a month while dating and after getting married. we have slowed down now with the babies. We figure a camper where the little guy could stay warm would get us going again.
Well it's nice spilling my guts.
Great Forum and information.
