As can be seen in our sign-on, we are new to RVing. Have purchased our first Class B and are trying to get the feel of it. Also purchased a tow dolly for the minivan. Our initial journey is planned for next month. It will be a 7-8 hours drive to the Texas panhandle. As stated, we're new, so I'll leave it at that. Best regards.

Its unusual for Class B owners to tow a toad..............

Temple.......... My mother was born and raised in Temple, her parents and brother are buried there along with her fathers parents. They migrated there from east Alabama about 1905. Mom's dad, worked in the Santa Fe roundhouse for 50 years.

Happy travels

Charles

Welcome to the forum.
If you can, try camping right in your driveway just to get a feel of what it’s like and it allows you to try every thing.
Be careful when packing. You don’t want to overload the rig. I always say to newbies make two lists. One list is for things you have to have and the other list is for things that would be nice to have. Only pack the 1st list. There are Walmart’s all over if you find you need something else while on the road.
Only take things from the house if you have 2 of them. The last thing you want to do is maybe move a potato peeler back and forth from the house to the rv then move it back to the house.
Good luck and enjoy.
