We have been doing this blindly. For our very first rv trip we went cross country last year in a small class c. While it was super convenient we found traveling with 2 dogs a bird and a cat plus myself and my husband just wasn't going to cut it! Soooo we purchased a 38' Fifth wheel when we got back. Sucker was huge but so roomy! Unfortunately our old Chevy sierra 3500 diesel just couldn't handle it and we blew a head gasket first time out. Never got to camp in it but she is sitting in a storage lot now. We went to pick her up at some point and the leveling jacks wouldn't move. Whole other story lol. Instead of just throwing in the towel, now we have a newer, reasonably sized Fifth wheel and our truck tows it like a champ!! I think we might be in business now! Now I have questions and this forum seems to be the place to get answers! So again, hello from Vegas and thank you in advance for your patience and help 😊

Sorry meant silverado not sierra. Couldn't find how to edit.

Touch the arrow and edit will pop up.
Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum. Plenty of seasoned RV’ers here to answer questions. Sound like a ruff start. You will have those ups and downs RVing but in the end it’s worth it. When you get time, edit your signature to include your rv information. Helps when you ask questions and faster responses. Enjoy your new 5th wheel. Am on my second one.
