Hi & welcome! We wish you success in showing the new wife why you like RVing so much. Many in your position have found that a newer or larger or more upscale rig helps.

Welcome from SW MI. What is not to like about camping? We head out tomorrow for 7 days in the lower and upper of MI. Starting in Irons, MI for 2 days, Sault St Marie, MI for 3 days, and then 2 days in Mackinaw City, MI. It is going to be a great trip....

Welcome to the forum. The friendliest on the net. Just tell her it’s cheaper than hotels. Plus you’re always using your own cooking stuff and food instead of always eating out. Once you get her out, she will change her mind. Good luck.
Yes, I have done the it's cheaper than a hotel, sleeping and eating with your own stuff. Had conversations with her about being a destination camper and a "weekend warrior". We live on a small lake so the idea of going to a campground and just sitting around doesn't appeal to her. But I haven't given up.
Michigan is a big place. It is easy to get to be more than a half a day's drive and still not be where you want to be. So, talk to her about museums and attractions that make it worthwhile to travel that far. I can think of five museums and seven other attractions that are worth that trip and only two of those are south of the Mackinac Bridge. Matt_C
