Howdy!
Here's our story in a nutshell.
Almost lost 46 y.o. spouse last summer to a break incident with heart. Thought we were going to lose  daughter this spring.  Been one heck of a year. New plan: Since dear spouse works remotely and wherever there's a decent wifi connection. Our dreams of retiring years from now and traveling are happening sooner. Always had a popup. Been dreaming of TT & 5th wheels for quite awhile. After this rough year,  we've decided to go for it. Realtor comes in 2 weeks.  Lots of stuff already given away or taken to Goodwill. House on market in April. After that, we'll be FT  RVers! (I guess that was a big nut) ?

Hi and Welcome!!!

If the key to your wife's success is  " wherever there's a decent wifi connection", be aware that these can be few and far between when speaking of campgrounds.

You would be wise to look into using your cell phone for internet service for this kind of thing.

Good luck in your future travels....

Hi and welcome!

What Alfa38user says is correct, you do not always get decent wifi and depending on where you travel to you may not get decent cell service either.  It would be worthwhile investing in some form of booster for both.

Others can give advice on this and it may be worthwhile creating a new post on this subject or using the Search function to find relevant posts.

You are quite right to get out and enjoy this wonderful country.  My partner has also had heart issues and is what drove us to the RVing life.  He is fit and healthy now but you never know what the future holds.  Do it while you can!

Good luck!
