We just put a down payment on our first RV, a Class A diesel pusher.
Has anyone tried to make the space over a shower any larger by installing a bigger inner and outer skylight? I am 6’ 3” and would love to have a little more headroom.

It can be done but it's rarely ever simple or inexpensive. For a tall guy, interior height is one of those factors that should be on the pre-buying checklist, cause it's not easily fixable later.. The more upscale models typically have more headroom, so spending a bit more upfront should get what you want. But I guess you are beyond that point now.

The shape & size of the shower bubble is typically unique to the brand and model, so finding a replacement that fits nicely as well as being taller is likely to be challenging. A unicorn hunt, maybe. And modifying the roof & ceiling for even a near-fit is a challenging job and no-doubt very expensive unless you have the skills yourself.

A 1997 Allegro bus diesel pusher for only $15,000. One big slide, works good. Two brand new recently replaced front windows because of rock damage. It does need some TLC. The interior is still all original. It has 1 damaged day/night blind. Was originally ordered with the “fireplace” option and solid surface countertop above, still there and working.

I have the VIN from the registration and every place I go to see what all this came with, It comes up as a Chevrolet truck!
Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum from WI. RV manufactures buy vehicle chassis from the auto makers and modify them thus the VIN will come up as a truck. As for your height i have heard of places that can customize skylights imagine not real cheap. Found this one likely others.
