Hello all, I am a new to the RV world. I have a 1994 Fleetwood Flair 26' class A. This rig has 8r19.5 tires on it and I am looking at replacing them. I keep hearing I can go with a different tire size but am a little concerned about changing from the stock tire size. If anyone has any input on this matter please feel free to advise.

Thanks,
Rick

It is best to stay with the stock size. it can be critical to keep the same load rating. You can save some money by going to a smaller tire but your contact patch with the ground will be smaller. Think about that on a rainy day when you need to stop fast.

Ultimately it is your decision but overloaded tires can overheat and blow out.
