Hello Everyone!
We are new to RV'ing.  We just purchased our first TT Forest River Hemisphere Hyper-lite.  We are looking forward to many adventures in the upcoming months.  Already booked for the Spring Rod-Run in the Smokies.  I just hope it doesn't take us all day to figure out how to set up w/o killing each other.  LOL

Welcome to the forum. Feel free to ask away with any questions you may have no matter how small it may seem to you. There is no dumb question. If you don't know the answer, it's not dumb to ask.
Try camping out in your driveway for a few nights. Have a pad of paper. Have 2 columns. One is for stuff you have to have and the other for things which would be nice to have. Only pack the RV with items you have to have. If you pack everything from the entire list, you may overload the RV.

Have you reserved a spot yet?  Knowing you have a spot gives some peace of mind.

Yes,practice in the driveway or camp close to home to get a feel for it.

Figure out who does what.  Checklists can be a great help too.

Plan to arrive well before dark and with full bellies.  Expect the traveling part to take longer than in a car.

Consider two-way radios for communication.  20 bucks well spent.

Have fun planning through the winter.  Sounds like a nice trip!

As stated spend a night or two in the driveway. Plan a meal(s) and showers and anything else you would do. The goal is to not go in the house.
Of course you will forget things you need (Med's, TP, towels) But that's why we do this.

After you have "Stocked" the TT. hook up to the truck and take it for a ride. It's highly recommended to get everything weighed. So this is a good time to get that done. While driving pay attention to how everything handles. You want your trailer to ride level when going down the road.

It's also that time of year when the temp's are dropping. depending on your location you may need to winterize your plumbing.
