We have a 2005 Gulfstream Sunvoyager and our icemaker (DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR) has worked fine for the past year, but suddenly just stopped making ice. We have defrosted the thing completely - twice - thinking maybe the line was frozen. That didn't help. We have also checked outside to make sure water was coming in to the line, and it is. We have, of course, made sure the metal bar was in the proper position to make ice. The ice maker just isn't filling the ice cube tray with water. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas or suggestions to try to fix this?? ?:-\

2005 sounds like it should be under warranty still.  Take it to the dealer (or other authorized repair facility) and get it done by them.

The icemaker is powered from a 110V circuit which is often separate from the rest of the power for the fridge. Most fridge's have two separate AC power plugs, one for icemaker and one for the cooling unit. Make sure the icemaker is getting power.

If that's not it, the icemaker's control circuitry (basically a clock motor) is not working.  It is the same type of icemaker used in residential fridge, so any refer repairman should be able to diagnose and repair/replace it.

Hope your warranty covers the icemaker. Dometic gives three years, but not sure if the second & third year cover everything like the first year does. Check your Dometic owner manual or call Dometic or your dealer.
