Greetings from Hawaii land of few RV's or RV technicians. I found out the latter the hard way....

I recently purchased a 2013 silver shadow teardrop camper. I've begun to familiarize myself with it. In the process I discovered there is no literature to be found on the trailer other than a simple starter guide manual. If anyone knows where I could get a technical manual I would appreciate the info.

I also trying to find out what these two moulded parts are that are on the side of the camper above the side lights.

Anyone know what they are for?

Thank you,
Dave

Welcome to the forum.
Are these brackets located on each side or just one side?
They look like the catches that hold a compartment door open

I'm an idiot, you guys are not. I thought they looked like some type of pin connector because if the two holes. Yes, mystery solved they are door catches.

Many many thanks!

Aloha! Your post kind of took me by surprise. I spent a year in Hawaii when I was in the Navy and never saw a camper or trailer the whole time. I figured it was because there really isn't anywhere to go. I'm not a tourist type, I can't lay on the beach and broil in my own juices all day, and no matter which direction I drove I was back at the ocean again 1/2 hour later. I knew people who said, "I'm taking the kids camping this weekend," just to find out they were going to sleep in a tent at some beach. I was like, "Dude, that's 20 minutes from your house. That's not camping, that just going to the beach and you can do that every day."
