I just purchased a 2000 Winnebago Adventurer 35U Ford drive train. Have been reading on this forum to learn before purchase as a guest and now that I am part of the group just wanted to introduce myself.

Welcome to the RV world Bill! But beware, this lifestyle is addicting!

It's only an addiction if you admit you have a problem....Otherwise it's just a out of control Hobby ;D

Congrats on the new-to-you motor home. Nice rig. But, be very cautious driving at first because that long rear overhang swings wide. Enjoy.

Welcome aboard!  IBTripping brought up a good point. My tail end hit a steel post at a gas station...several hundred to fix the coach, had a friend who owned a body shop do I got by cheap.

Where is your first trip going to be?

Or Hubby...  :D

Welcome to the forum.

We were also told slow and wide. Good advice we thought.  Also watch out for things like tree branches and car parks, we got in one then struggled to get out due to small turning area and little trees planted.

Some folks recommend going to a local large Walmart or the like and practicing there when it's quiet.

Good luck and be sure to let us know if you need any help with anything.

Safe travels.

Doing some mods first and then will sit down to plan a trip.
Mods I am doing
replace the bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) they all work just like to start out fresh in that department.
replace the carpet with vinyl plank flooring
add side view cameras
