I am looking for either the table or the mechanism to build a Hi=Lo Coffee table.  I had one in a Rexhall MH that measured aproximately 40" x  20" x 18" ht that had a leaf on either side.  It would raise STRAIGHT  up to approx 30"  and you could fold out the leafs to make an extra dining table or gaming table.

It was made by HI-LO Industries in KS.  They don't make them any longer and will not share where they got the mechanism.  Not nice

I have found other Hi-Lo mechanisms that raise up and come toward you.  This is not what I'm looking for.  The one I'm searching for raises Straight up
Thanks...............Ron

How high is high and how low is low.. This may stound a bit "Strange" but it really makes a difference.

There are several tables out there that are of 'Adjustable height' and it is possible one of them may meet your requirements.

Beyond that we get to design work... Something a few of us can do (though I prefer not to) is the job of designing a way to adapt stuff to different jobs.

Search n.ine for the amazing miller folding table.  Sounds like the one we have

Check web sites for marine stores; They're quite common on boats.

We recently saw the the one that comes toward you in a consignment shop.

Have you tried looking on Craigslist or ebay for a cheap one you could harvest the mechanism from?

I have one. contact me for details. I will list in classifieds soon. (is this ok moderator?)

I think I saw the mechanism at a local woodworking store, Rockler. You might check out their website, The store I use is in Hoffman Estates Illinois but I'm sure if they have it they will ship it.

I just recently bought a 2006 sightseer 26p and the table you are talking about was in this motor home.  It is great table, when down it is just about coffee table height and when up it is at dining room table height.  The Mechanism is quite complex.  It to bad they do not still make them as they are great in an RV, especially the one we have as it does not have a dinette. Good luck in finding one.
