How'd the surgery come out? I know how painful a collapsed lung can be, I hope they fixed it already.
Would you like to regenerate the title as well as the summary?
The surgery went fine but it is still partly collapsed. They keep finding other problems to fix. How'd the surgery come out? I know how painful a collapsed lung can be, I hope they fixed it already.
And I'm guessing that her reply would have been along the lines of........""Sure, but you're on your own on that one!"You should have seen the look on the nurses face when she told me no more food and water till the operation is done.
I asked her if I could still have sex.
I'm surprised they didn't put in a Foley catheter that stays in long term and drains into a container continuously.I have been having problems with #1 and #2. Since the falls I can't do either. I finally managed to squeeze out two small packages but I was up all last night unsuccessful at urinating so at about 5am a nurse came in and ultrasounded me and put in a cather which relieved pressure and produced about 600 ml of urine. Around 11am it was decided to install again. This time I had two female nurses fail so they called in a male nurse who finally got it going.
Lunch came and went when I felt the urge pee. I discovered blood cong out of the end of my *****. Am I transitioning?
A nurse just came in and installed an oxygen mask on me.
By the time you get back home, you might have a 30-yr old body. What's that called, refurbished? The surgery went fine but it is still partly collapsed. They keep finding other problems to fix.
No rehab for me. I don't want any rehab.By the time you get back home, you might have a 30-yr old body. What's that called, refurbished?
When you finally get into rehab, approach it as if your life depends on it, because it does.
How or why do you know this?Next time the nurses put a catheter in you teach them ‘The trick’.
When the tip of the catheter reaches the sphincter muscle at the bladder, when resistance is felt, tell the patient to wiggle their feet.
It works like magic, and since magic is all about misdirection that’s completely true.
Don’t ask how or why I know this.
They put in a Foley last night and it is working.I'm surprised they didn't put in a Foley catheter that stays in long term and drains into a container continuously.
