How long does it take for water to damage floor?

My Splendide died bought another one 12/21/12 installed it.
It wasnt leaking, check again that day. Couple of days it was then.
Coming from the back where water hose goes into machine.
Tightened again, making sure not to tighten to much, it got worse, removed Christmas eve.
It wouldnt leak with water off, so it's has to be machine, had rubber gasket.

How long does it take for water to damage floor?
Seems to me some softness in wall and bedroom.

What kind of floor do you have?  The OSB chipboard flooring in my Damon motorhome softened almost as soon as it saw moisture.  The marine grade plywood used in my Arctic Fox trailer was much more moisture resistant.

what kind of coach do you have? some manufacturers use OSB, plywood, vacubond, and they use to use particle board

The plywood floor under my Spendide has been soaked a couple times, but no sign of damage.
