How to identify make and model

I purchased a used 2008 Ford E-350 RV from my brother. There are no other markings to show the make and model of the living quarters attached to the cab and chassis. There is no owners manual, and plugging the VIN online doesn’t tell me anything more than the fact that it is a Ford E-350. I measured it with a measuring tape, and it seems to be 24 feet long. Maybe 25 feet depending on if the bumpers should be included.

I can find no labels or markings on the interior or exterior to indicate the make and model. The interior has an over cabin bed in the front, a seating area with a table that converts into a bed right behind the driver seat. The refrigerator is right behind the seating area also on the driver side. Then there is a closet with two doors right next to the refrigerator. Then behind that is a small vanity sink with a mirror and a cabinet underneath the sink then right behind that is the door to the bathroom that has an elevated toilet And a shower with a shower curtain. Right next to that on the passenger side is a corner bed that you enter on an angle. Above the bed are three built-in cabinets with doors that swing upward. Right in front of the bed again on the passenger side is a kitchen sink with an attached stove top. Underneath the sink is a single door cabinet. Right above the sink is a two door cabinet. The vent above the stove says “Ventline.” And then above the vent is a “Magic Chef”branded microwave. Underneath the stove top there are two cabinet doors. The top one is actually a cabinet, but the bottom one just opens up to wiring and piping. Continuing forward on the passenger side, you find the stairs and the external doorway. And right next to that is an upholstered chair. And right in front of the upholstered chair is the passenger seat.

I have attached external photos. Can anyone please let me know what make and model this is likely to be? I really need to get this insured today because I’m supposed to hit the road with it tomorrow.

Did you check wall behind the driver seat side curtain? Look in all the cabinets? What does the prior registration say?
.

To insure it you need whatever the brand name is on the title.

Found it! Here's a link to some Cruise America used rental RV's. They're newer than yours, but note the similarity in the markings and build. The one shown was built by Tiffin, but other similar units were built by Thor and Winnebago.

Thor Acquired Tiffin in 2020 and I'm sure they took advantage of the Tiffin name immediately.

Yes. There’s nothing on that wall. I opened all the cabinets and didn’t see anything there either. The prior registration simply says “Ford E-350 Cut Out.”

There is a separate VIN for the coach, it's just a matter of finding it. Those are custom built to Cruise America specs. No electric steps to fail or manual ones to leave out, no awning to get destroyed, no flimsy shades to break (they use curtains). They are rather bulletproof so they cannot get destroyed by renters. They usually have the Majestic name across the back of them.

A Cruise America rental location may be able to show you where to find the coach s/n, not that it will do you much good. You know the chassis VIN and that is what you need to know for locating chassis parts.

There should be a label as pictured below somewhere. It is often hidden behind end of the front window curtains - driver side. Lift the curtain up and search.

The Ford E350 chassis VIN should give you minimum the year built. Cruse America might be able to help but?

What does your title give you for information?

This is what it would have looked like when it was a rental, you'll see them in your travels. Its a Thor Majestic.

As for Tiffin, they dont make class C's like this and (as far as I know) never have.

Its pretty sad how badly THOR is abusing the Tiffin name over there and you can expect more of it. The big diesel class A market has shrunk 55% from 2019-2024 and apparently the only ones selling are Tiffins and Newmars. If that reduction in sales spills over to the other markets you can expect those names to be slapped onto anything and everything

I guess we’ll never know if his title gives him any information. I’m done watching this thread

You and I both told him to look at his title. I'm guessing for whatever reason he doesn't have a title
